Our Founder Nick Sarnicola

The Story of How We Got Here

NextGen was established as a private foundation in 2011 by Nick Sarnicola who saw a gap in the education system. Entrepreneurship was not being taught in the traditional classroom setting, and they set out to fill this gap! He began investing his personal time, talent, and treasure in organizations like Venture for America, Remembrance Ranch, and the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).

Empowering the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs Together

In 2016, Nick wanted NextGen to become more engaged in the programs he supporting. He partnered with NFTE to begin working on a solid internal entrepreneurial curriculum. Through this partnership, NextGen is now able to offer amazing summer camps, after-school programming, and in-school curriculum designed to engage our youth in a whole new way!.

“For us, it is more than just the giving, but the stories that are made along the way”

What We Stand For

Our current education system is not designed to educate, inspire, or adapt to the changes and challenges facing the world. NextGen exists to encourage individual ideas and dreams. We are committed to teaching today’s youth the skills of entrepreneurship so they can follow their passions and interests rather than a traditional career path.

Our passion is to educate, encourage, and empower young entrepreneurs to take charge of their own destinies. We foster entrepreneurship through mentorship, education, and funding connect with us.
